Design
Prior to our initial meeting, I will send you a brief questionnaire to help me understand what you want your garden to be, what would please you, and how you want to use the space.
Then we'll meet in your garden.
I will listen to your thoughts and desires and ask you questions, so together we can envision your dream garden.
The garden is for you, and I want it to reflect your spirit.
I want you to love it!
Installation
I have a wonderful crew of educated, experienced, English-speaking gardeners who are dedicated professionals.
Under my supervision, they will install your garden according to the design, beginning with excellent soil preparation - the state of your soil determines the health of your plants - and ending with a beautiful new garden!
Maintenance/Care
We give your garden the finest care.
This includes:
Proper pruning for health and beauty and to direct the future growth of your plants;
Care of the soil including annual additions of organic matter according to the needs of your particular soil and plants;
Natural and organic pest control
Irrigation system monitoring and maintenance
Seasonal plantings
Renovation
We will uncover your buried treasures and discover the "bones" or structure of the original garden.
First we'll remove all weeds, dead plants and debris; next we'll prune the overgrowth, followed by a finer pruning.
Then you can decide what you want to keep or remove, and whether to add some new plantings or reconfigure some of the old ones. I will always be happy to advise you, if you wish.
Garden Cleanups
Is your garden sad and weary?
We will tame your overgrown jungle, removing weeds and dead and unwanted plants, pruning and cleaning out the beds.
You will see a wonderful transformation!
Patios & Pathways
We create beautiful flagstone patios and pathways of various kinds.

Irrigation
We design and install irrigation systems appropriate for your plantings, specializing in drip irrigation systems and water-wise gardens.
Irrigation
Grow your own organic herbs and vegetables, or let me do it for you. Be sure it’s pure! Great for you, for the kids, for the environment. No need to give up your flower beds - we can incorporate lovely and delicious food plants into an existing garden, if you like. You can grow vegetables in containers, too!
Container Gardens
You can have a garden just about anywhere: decks, balconies, porches, stairs, rooftops, window boxes...
And you can grow just about anything in a container, from small trees and shrubs to herbs and vegetables, foliage plants and flowering annuals and perennials, lovely spring bulbs, and vines.
Containers are wonderfully versatile and are easy to move and change. And you can have the perfect soil for your plants!

Water Features
We install simple water features, such as fountains and birdbaths.
We also create lovely dry stream beds, suggesting a stream and capturing and directing runoff from rain in winter.
Water in the garden adds something special - a play of light, a soothing kind of music.
And the birds love it!
Low-voltage Lighting
Lighting brings another dimension to the garden.
It can be simple or quite magical and theatrical, altering the garden's appearance in unexpected ways.
It lights dark pathways, making it safe to walk in the garden at night.
And it extends the time you can spend in your garden - great for family gatherings and parties!
Rain Gardens
Rain gardens are designed to capture rain water and direct it into the soil and down to the water table, preventing erosion and keeping the rain in the ground, rather than letting it run into the sewers and down storm drains.
They can be of any size, even down to a small area to catch the water from your roof drain.
Consultation
Need a little help or inspiration?
I am happy to consult with you to solve problems in the garden or to answer any questions you may have.
I can also make suggestions for new plantings, alterations, or garden care.
Birds & Butterflies
A garden without wildlife such as birds and butterflies seems lonely and incomplete.
It's easy to attract them, whether you have a large garden or a simple pot or window box, or anything in between.
And in return for the delight they bring, you will be helping our endangered creatures.
